Taman Puchong Perdana is among the earliest residential townships developed in Puchong. Established since end of 1980s, the residential estate has now become a self-contained residential township with basic amenities and commercial centre.

Adding to that, the community of Taman Puchong Perdana has pooled funds amounted RM15,000 to set up the first police beat base sited along Jalan Perdana 2/1 in the end of 2009. The beat base is set up as a meeting point for the police and residents. It is a joint effort by the local community and Bukit Puchong community policing. Taman Puchong Perdana is also close-by Zen Residence , Pt19 residence , and Puchong Hartamas.
