It is of no doubt that the cost of living in Damansara Heights is high due to the rapid development of both commercial and residential buildings and roads – namely the Sprint Highway. Public transportation is also widely available should residents rely on them as a means of getting around. Residents are closely located to two of the leading malls in Kuala Lumpur, namely Mid Valley Megamall and Bangsar Shopping Centre, connected by Jalan Maarof.
Despite the close proximity of Bukit Ledang to the city, residents enjoy a peaceful living with relatively low crowding and noise levels. The crime rate is also low as Damansara Heights is a guarded area. For recreational purpose, there is the Damansara Country Club where one can get a dose of golf and other sports. The Saidina Umar Al-Khatab mosque is located in the area as well.
